Benjamin Nelson, is vice president and general counsel, Hunt Investment Group. In this capacity, he is responsible for oversight and legal representation. Before joining Hunt, Nelson  was a corporate securities partner with Hughes & Luce LLP, in Dallas, and before, that he worked with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California and Austin, Texas, and with Fulbright & Jaworski in Dallas. While at these firms and with Hunt, he helped close more than 200 private equity, M&A, public offering or other financing transactions. Nelson graduated from Duke Law School with a JD and Stanford University with a BA in history.
